核融合 (Magnetically Confined Fusion)：
Success of controlled fusion is strongly dependent on understanding macroscopic (magnetic reconnection, for example) and microscopic instabilities (plasma turbulence).
Turbulence experiment in magnetized plasmas;
Theoretical study on the suppression of turbulence by electric field;
Kinetic simulation of Alfven wave instabilities;
Members of our institute collaborate with US, EU, and Japanese fusion program.
